As a Senior Storage Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leader in innovative data management solutions. You will help design, implement, and maintain robust backup and recovery systems across multiple sites, ensuring seamless data protection and operational excellence.

  • Manage and optimize your operational environment of 10 TSM servers, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Define and implement data retention policies, ensuring compliance and efficiency
  • Monitor system health across three sites, troubleshooting issues proactively
  • Perform data restores and recovery procedures to guarantee data integrity
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and propose continuous improvements to processes and infrastructure
  • Manage IBM tape libraries and tape management systems with advanced expertise
  • Develop scripting solutions in Bash, KSH, Python, and Perl to automate and enhance storage workflows
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including database administrators, utilizing RMAN, TDP, and SQL scripting for DB2 environments

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in storage management and backup solutions
  • Proven expertise with IBM TSM, StorageProtect, and TSMManager
  • Deep knowledge of tape libraries and tape management
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, KSH, Python, and Perl
  • Familiarity with RMAN, TDP, and DB2 SQL scripting
  • English – Communicative level
