21st International Digital Curation Conference 2027 (IDCC27)

IDCC27 will explore the theme “FAIR DO's: Centring People in the Stewardship and Curation of Digital Objects.

Join us in Lisbon, Portugal, 9-12 February 2027 for the 21st International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC27), exploring the theme FAIR DO's: Centring People in the Stewardship and Curation of Digital Objects.

Hosted by the Digital Curation Centre (DCC), the International Digital Curation Conference (IDCC) is a long-established annual event with a unique place in the global digital curation community.

IDCC27 will bring together practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts to tackle contemporary challenges and share best practices in digital curation.

Event Highlights

Workshops – Tuesday 9 Feb & Friday 12 Feb

This year we're extending our workshop programme. Join these interactive, hands-on workshops led by community experts. Participants can choose one full-day workshop or two half-day sessions. Tickets are limited and registration will open in October 2026.

Main Conference – Wednesday 10 & Thursday 11 Feb

Held at the ISCTE – IUL (Instituto Universitário de Lisboa), the main conference features keynote speakers, scholarly paper discussions, lightning talks, and a poster exhibition, all selected by our international programme committee.

Social Events

1. Drinks Reception 16:00 - 19:00 (UTC+0) – Tuesday 9 Feb. Included with your conference ticket, hosted at the ISCTE. Spaces are limited.

1. Conference Dinner 19:00 - 22:00 (UTC+0) – Wednesday 10 Feb. Join us for a 3-course sit down dinner and museum tour.

• Standard dinner ticket (£55): includes self-guided museum tour, 3-course dinner (vegetarian and vegan options available) as well as drinks.

Ticket Options

• Early Bird Conference Ticket £625: Available until 30 October 2026.
• Regular Conference Ticket £750: Available until 24 January 2027.
• One-Day Conference Ticket £425: Available for either Wednesday or Thursday. Available until 24 January 2027.
• Student Ticket £150: Email with proof of your student status to confirm eligibility.
• LMIC (Low and Middle-Income Countries) £50: Email with proof of residence to confirm eligibility.

All conference tickets admit you to the main conference. Limited availability of each ticket type available.

Discounts

• DCC Associates: £50 discount available on any two-day Conference Ticket.
• Local Residents: £175 discount available on any two-day Conference Ticket. Limited availability.
